About Our Doctor

Dr. Dexter is a 2003 graduate of the
Michigan State University College of
Veterinary Medicine. She received her
Bachelors of Science degree in Biology
from Randolph College in Lynchburg,
Virginia. She is a member of the
American Veterinary Medical
Association and the Virginia
Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Dexter grew up on a farm in New
England with many horses, goats,
chickens, dogs and cats. She has
worked as a small animal and equine
veterinarian since graduation. She lives
in Powhatan with her husband Matt,
their Boxer Lola, Rhodesian
Ridgeback Reuben, and two kitties
Manny and Stewart.
